Troops come home from Kuwait

Since working at KFGO, the top rated news radio station in the Fargo-Moorhead area, I’ve been able to witness some cool things. This would have to be one of the most memorable event of all. Yesterday the Whapeton, N.D.-based 188th Engineer Company came home from Kuwait. I could feel the anticipation and excitement from talking to family members before the airplane came to the gates, and also from the troops as they walked briskly towards their families looking through the crowds trying to find a familiar face.

This is the plane that brought the troops in. There was a fire truck on both sides of the airplane spraying the plane’s engines so the troops could get off ASAP.

Here is my video package from the event.
